I’ve had fun at plenty of online casinos, so it’s hard to pick out the very best, or even the top three. The things that you like may be different from the things that I like, so I’ll just concentrate on overall objective quality.

And by that, I mean that I’ll take into consideration things like customer service and support, the reputation and longevity of the online casino, the looks and stability of the software, and the variety in the range of games. The bonuses are a very nice incentive, but ONLY if everything else lines up too. There’s no reason to go for an attractive bonus at a dodgy casino; most of the time, you’re asking for more trouble than it’s worth.

• Cherry Red Casino deserves extra special mention, because it scores very high in each of my categories and is available to US players as well (unlike several of my other picks). If I had to choose a single online casino USA to recommend, it would be Cherry Red.
• InterCasino, on the other hand, is NOT available to US players, which is a shame because it is probably my personal favorite. However, I could just be motivated by the fact that it’s one of the few online casinos to offer games by Cryptologic  (the single best casino game software developer on the planet).

Well, there’s two to start. My other choices have something unique that might really make the decision for you…or turn you off completely. Nevertheless, they all achieve the level of quality that I demand.

• Mansion Casino – games by Microgaming (whose online slots compare only to Cryptologic’s), and great service. Not US-friendly, though.
• Aladdin’s Gold – this one IS okay for US players, and it looks absolutely incredible. The games and support are as good as the eye candy (which puts many animated films to shame!).
